Choosing your wardrobe carcass:
There are three options when getting a wardrobe, either:
Open carcass: This is a nice minimal style, where stanchions are dividing the sections as opposed to panels. Also, no back panels, leaving the wall behind exposed, which can be great if you want to see your original paintwork, wallpaper, panels etc. This option is the most affordable and also very space-efficient; it can be great for a small room, where you're strapped for storage space.
Part carcass: This style is quite similar to open carcass but instead of stanchions, you have panels as dividers, which can be better if you want more separation between sections of your wardrobe. There are end panels but you still have the walls of your room exposed, which can be a real plus for some people.
Full carcass: Where the entire wardrobe, top to bottom, side to side is panelled. This is the complete package, with all the added interiors you can think of, including LED lighting. If you want to maximise your storage in style and add a touch of glamour to your home, then this is the style for you.
